The purpose of this job is to support multiple Corporate Treasury Services (CTS) Relationship Managers in their efforts to grow new and existing business relationships through treasury products and services as well as increase deposit growth. Sales Associate is to act as a support liaison for CTS Relationship Managers with our key banking partners for commercial deposits and public funds entities, including depository bids and Treasury Management sales and support.

Responsibilities Serve as sales support for CTS for Sales Representatives in assigned markets Provide sales support in the preparation of proposals, analyzing customer statements and providing recommendations for potential expanded services for new and existing clientsAssist in the preparation of treasury service reviews for top clientsMeet with CTS Relationship Managers and leadership regularly to identify opportunities and provide updates to product information and potential cross-sell solutionsUnderstand the client’s business in order to provide appropriate solution recommendationsParticipate in all CTS Training and Development opportunities Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field preferredCompletion of Trustmark’s MDA program OR:
Two years previous experience in one or more of the following areas:LendingCreditFinanceCash Management SupportBank OperationsDemonstrates knowledge of Trustmark’s Commercial business customer depository policies, procedures, and products, including treasury management available to business customers, public entities, and non-profit organizationsUnderstanding of credit approval process as well as related bank policies and external regulationsPractical working knowledge of sales principles and Treasury Management ServicesKnowledge of credit analysis practices and procedures as it relates to ACH and RDCFamiliarity with products and services offered by financial services institutionsFamiliarity with bank Operations policies and procedures for supporting Loan, Deposit and Treasury servicesStrong oral and written communication skillsEffective judgement and decision-making skillsTime management and organization skillsInterpersonal and relationship building skillsAbility to engage multi-departmental cooperation to accomplish goalsCustomer contact, sales, analytical and service skillsStrong computer skillsAbility to travelAbility to configure and implement products to enable customers in the use the bank’s Corporate Treasury ServicesScheduling and participating in customer calls for trainingAbility to test file formats and validate information within the files that will be used between customers and bankAbility to determine the best method to deliver services to customersAbility to accurately complete required enrollment and agreement related documents to support customer implementations
