The Corporate Warranty Analyst is responsible for preparing, recording, and submitting warranty claims to the factory and/or distributor and reconciles them accordingly. Responsibilities: Process claims for assigned vendors, ensure claim information in WCC is current, and review schedules for assigned dealers/vendors. Ensure all documentation is complete per vendor requirements. Verify criteria required by factory or distributor using warranty checklist. Reconcile all warranty receivables with credits received through the appropriate accounting schedule. Ensure that dealers are following up on open task responses. Code credits for input by posting clerk. Resubmit all rejected claims promptly or receive authorization to write them off. Follow up on payment of outstanding claims. Must be proficient with internet based computer programs and have basic general accounting knowledge.
