DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Corrections Food Service Instructor, you will function as a lead worker and provide instruction to inmates through on-the-job vocational training. You will instruct inmates in food preparation, production, service, and baking. In this role, you will ensure proper control over inmates by enforcing custody and security regulations and inspecting all food service areas, equipment, and food for conformance with established safety and sanitation standards. Work Schedule and Additional Information: + Full-time employment, 40 hours per week + Work hours are to be determined. This position involves shift work with rotating days off. Shifts are awarded based on bidding and seniority. + This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55. + Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
