Day-To-Day

Responsible for the management of functional operation of the residential program in accordance with VOA Texas and FBOP policies and procedures Manages the Re-Entry Monitors and Client monitoring. Assigns shift duties to Residential Re-Entry Maintains chronological written records of events that occur during the shift. Monitors client movements inside and outside the facility. Controls contraband in facility through general observation, facility searches, and client searches Observes client behavior and reports to the Lead RRM or supervisor in a timely manner any situations that are irregular or exceptional. Has responsibility for client care, in compliance with standards of ethics of Responsible for the oversight of medication procedures to ensure audits are accurate and medication is being taken as prescribed. Responsible for oversight of the urinalysis/breathalyzer procedures and search procedures (client, vehicle, and facility), to ensure compliance per contractual agreement. Supervises residents in observance of house rules, as well as Policies and Procedures of Volunteers of America Texas and the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Provides support to clients and serves in the on-call rotation. 

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum 2 years’ experience in working in a correctional or halfway house facility. Requires a demonstrated ability in record keeping and ability to monitor to residents and use positive discipline methods. Valid Texas Driver License, clear MVR and the ability to be insured.
