Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a correctional facility in Elizabeth City, NC. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to inmates, ensuring their health and well-being. This position requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a challenging environment, and a commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and assess the health status of inmates. Provide emergency care as needed. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate inmates on health-related issues and promote healthy lifestyles.Qualifications:
Current RN license in the state of North Carolina. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a correctional or similar setting. Strong clinical and assessment skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. CPR certification.Benefits:
