Responsibilities:Corrective Maintenance Mechanic - Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following for:
Employee must always endeavor to work safety and intervene to ensure the safety of othersSite-wide responsibility to support equipment reliability and continued mechanical improvement.Candidates must be able to climb (towers, boilers, etc.) and work in confined spaces (respirator qualified).Candidate must complete job progression process to allow for execution of Non-destructive testing requirements for Visual Testing (VT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Vibration Monitoring. Further training to support site requirements as needed, for example: American Petroleum Institute (API) tank and pipe inspection certification. Modest travel required for training and job duties.Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.Candidate would be responsible for preparing, implementing, and maintaining rotating and fixed equipment inspection programs in accordance with the quality management system (QMS), including report writing and documentation.Must pass internal testing and demonstrate computer skills in the following: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access).Additional Responsibilities include: Machinery Troubleshooting, thermography inspections, equipment repair plan development, lubrication plan development, performing rotating equipment shaft alignments, and 3rd party repair shop quality assurance visits.
