Summary:
This role has an entry pay rate of $41.38 per hour
Under general supervision of the Supervisor, the Corrosion Technician applies corrosion skills and aptitude to repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform other predictive and preventative maintenance tasks on assigned corrosion control equipment, facilities, systems, and associated devices.

High School diploma or equivalent including a minimum 2 years' experience in corrosion control supporting pipeline integrity projects. NACE certified CP level 1 required Technical knowledge for the application and maintenance of external & internal corrosion control. Excellent verbal & written communications skills and be capable of effectively interfacing with all levels of management, field personnel, and professionals. Must be able to use sound judgment, be a self-starter and well organized. Detailed knowledge of pipeline operations, API, DOT procedures and HES. Proficiency utilizing MS Applications. Able to use and operate all pertinent safety equipment when performing duties in potentially hazardous areas (respirator, hard hat, safety glasses, etc.). Must be able to work alone and outdoors in extreme weather and perform heavy physical labor in a safe manner. Maintain a valid driver’s license for the state of residence.Working Conditions:
