We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled **Production Technician** with **corrugated industry** **experience** to join our client's team. As a Production Technician, you will play a critical role in daily operations, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of machinery and maintaining product quality. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of the corrugated industry, be able to work independently, and follow safety protocols. **Job Title:** Production Technician **(Corrugated Industry Experience Required)** **Location:** Ontario, CA **Pay Rate:** $21.47 per hour **Shift Hours:** 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (Occasional early start at 4:30 AM) **Job Type:** Temp to Hire **Interviews Required** **What’s the Job?** + Operate **Hogger, Shredder, and Unitizer** machines as directed by the Shipping Supervisor. + Maintain good **housekeeping practices** and ensure a clean and organized work environment. + Occasionally operate **Power Industrial Trucks** with various attachments. + Visually inspect finished products and provide feedback to machine operators to improve product quality. + Lift and carry **raw materials** and production supplies (up to 50 lbs.) as required. + Stack and sort **dunnage sheets** as needed. + Perform machine clean-up tasks and assist with weekly machine start-up activities. + Report any issues with machinery or PIT equipment promptly to supervisors. **What’s Needed?** + Previous experience in the **corrugated industry** is **essential** . + Power Industrial Truck (PIT) knowledge. + Basic math skills for counting production quantities and measuring materials. + Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks. + Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in a noisy work environment. + Strong communication skills for team collaboration. + Safe Work Practices certification (annual training required). + Lockout/Tagout certification (annual training required). + Steel-toe shoes are required for this position. **What’s in it for me?** + Opportunity to grow within a dynamic and supportive work environment. + Gain valuable experience in the manufacturing industry. + Work alongside a dedicated team focused on quality and safety. + Engage in a role that offers hands-on experience with machinery and production processes. + Be part of a company that values teamwork and continuous improvement.
