Job Title: Cosmetic ChemistJob Description Conduct analysis of raw materials in accordance with quality requirements. Formulate with raw materials to create finished products. Speak to customers and answer questions when needed. Create and process technical documents for the ingredients manufactured. Address any concerns at both company locations involving lab or manufacturing. Occasionally go out into the field with Sales members to speak with customers. Enter Certificates of Analysis to see if new chemicals would fit in the manufacturing line. Hard Skills + 4+ years within personal care formulations industry + Experience with surfactants, preservatives, emulsifiers, esters, and other specialty materials + Formulating finished products to promote specialty ingredients + Entering certificates of analysis and working with new chemicals Soft Skills + Ability to communicate effectively with customers + Team-oriented with a willingness to support colleagues + Open to asking questions and engaging in an open forum Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s). Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Totowa, New Jersey. Work Environment Very close-knit family culture with open support for one another. 8:30AM-5PM, Monday-Friday.
