Responsibilities + Conduct raw material, in-process, and finished good testing + Perform HPLC and GC testing + Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments + Follow SOPs and ensure compliance with GMP standards + Perform HPLC analysis of samples from production and final products + Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Essential Skills + Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry + Experience as a Lab Technician, particularly in a Wet Chemistry Lab + Proficiency with HPLC, GC, FTIR, and viscosity tests + Strong communication skills + Ability to follow SOPs and work in a GMP environment Additional Skills & Qualifications + Hands-on experience with QC testing, preferably using HPLC and GC + Instrument maintenance and troubleshooting skills + Experience working in a family-owned small business environment Work Environment This is a lab-based position focused on QC bench work and documentation. The candidate will be one of two Lab Technicians performing hands-on QC analysis. The work environment includes three individuals in the lab: the director, two lab techs, and a QC technician who assists with sample processing. The company specializes in lotions and cream products for over-the-counter use. The shift is from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
