Job Title: Cosmetics Manufacturing Quality Control Lab Technician
Job Description

A small family-owned cosmetics formulations lab is seeking a quality control technician for their QC Lab. This is a long-term opportunity with a fast-growing company where you will split your time between product quality checking and in-process lab work.

ResponsibilitiesConduct product quality checks and inspections.Perform in-process lab work, ensuring adherence to GMP and SOP standards.Utilize and maintain equipment such as spectrometers.Perform tests including pH, viscosity, density, and specific gravity measurements.Document and maintain accurate batch records and certificates of analysis.Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).Perform quality assurance tasks including fill weight checks and quality inspections.Essential SkillsExperience in the cosmetics industry.Knowledge of GMP and SOP standards.Proficiency in quality inspection and quality control processes.Familiarity with lab techniques, including wet chemistry.Ability to use laboratory equipment such as spectrometers.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with personal care products such as lotions.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.Work Environment

The role involves splitting time between the production environment and the QC lab. The company is a small family-owned business that is experiencing growth, offering a supportive and long-term opportunity.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
