Here is what you will be doing each day:

As a Cosmetologist, you will be styling, cutting and possible color services to guests. You'll also provide guidance on proper care and recommend home care routines. Additionally, part of your role involves promoting and selling spa/salon services and retail products, as well as setting up workstations with essential products, equipment, and supplies to ensure guest comfort and safety. 

Effective communication skills are essential, along with maintaining a consistently professional demeanor and appearance.  You should excel in guest interactions, promptly identifying and resolving any issues that arise. Flexibility and a willingness to assist colleagues as needed are crucial, demonstrating a strong team-oriented approach. Building and maintaining positive relationships with associates and guests is key. Certification or licensing at the local and/or state level is required, with a preference for candidates who have completed a minimum of 200 hours of Cosmetology education and possess at least two years of professional experience.

For applicants who will be working in NYC, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $16.00 per hour; for applicants who will be working in New York, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $16.00 per hour. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, work location, etc. Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer and the salary ranges indicated herein may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
