Cost Accountant Details:

Direct Hire position$60,000.00 /annuallySalaried (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Analyze and confirm actual manufacturing costs by collecting, interpreting, and reporting data.Determine manufacturing cost of operations through actual costing methods.Collect operational data to calculate, review, confirm, and analyze actual manufacturing costs.Perform trend analyses and forecasts and recommend actions/prepare reportsWorks closely with the Sales Department to ensure timely invoicing of progressive payments.Post customers’ payments as received.Contact customers in an effort to collect on past-due accounts. Code freight bills for Accounts Payable processing.Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Cost Accountant Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or five (5) years related work experience in a manufacturing environment is required. A combination of both education and experience may by acceptedSAP experience preferred.
