Description We are looking for a dedicated Cost Accountant to join our team in the Aerospace industry, located in Rancho Cucamonga, California. In this role, you will be a crucial part of our accounting team, ensuring financial reports and analysis are prepared accurately and in a timely manner. You will also provide key insights through your financial analysis to support business decisions. Responsibilities • Conducting ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions. • Assisting with special reporting in standard, job and direct cost. • Ensuring financial reports and analysis are prepared accurately and in accordance with corporate policies, generally accepted accounting principles, and applicable regulations and laws. • Providing business partnership to the accounting team. • Applying your skills in Manufacturing Cost Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Standard Cost Accounting. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years experience in a cost accounting role, preferably within the aerospace industry • Proficiency in manufacturing cost accounting • Demonstrated expertise in standard cost accounting • Ability to perform ad hoc financial analysis • Strong skills in overall financial analysis • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience • Excellent analytical skills, with a detailed understanding of how numbers affect a business • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel • Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems • Strong attention to detail, with an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to think strategically and implement solutions • Knowledge of the aerospace industry and its unique financial requirements.
