**Cost Accountant – Manufacturing | Worland, WY** This role offers the chance to work closely with production teams, analyze costs, and drive financial accuracy and efficiency. **Key Responsibilities:** + Assist in the preparation of monthly inventory-related journal entries. + Analyze and monitor costs associated with production processes, materials, and inventory. + Prepare and maintain cost reports, including variance analysis and cost of goods sold (COGS) reports. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements. + Conduct regular audits of inventory and manufacturing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. + Assist in the development and implementation of cost accounting policies and procedures. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. + 2+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment. + Strong understanding of inventory accounting, cost analysis, and financial reporting. + Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and ERP systems. + Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. + Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide valuable financial insights.
