Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in Burlington, Wisconsin, for a Cost Accountant to join our team within the industry. In this role, you will be tasked with the responsibility of managing and analyzing financial data, improving costing processes, and conducting audits on financial processes related to costing. Responsibilities: • Analyze financial data related to profit margins and costs across multiple legal entities • Develop a more efficient standard costing process and investigate variances using our current system • Generate monthly reports and provide financial analysis as required to support the business • Conduct audits on financial processes and transactions specifically related to costing • Monitor changes in processes or methods and calculate their effects on overall costs • Estimate product costs for both existing products and new product introductions • Forecast and analyze costs associated with processes, labor, and inventory • Propose solutions that reduce costs or increase profitability • Undertake any other duties assigned as part of the role.
