Demonstrate leadership behaviour through personal involvement, commitment and dedication in support of organisational valuesDevelop tactical strategy and delivery plans in support of functional strategic objectives in partnership with leadershipEstablish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders, that support thought leadership, innovative and integrated practice solutionsAnticipate and meet the needs of clients and commit to continuous development and entrenchment of a customer service cultureDraw up a budget aligned to tactical delivery plans, monitor effectiveness and report on variancesManage expenditure planning and reporting within approved budget parametersDevelop new insights into situations and apply innovative solutions to make organisational improvementsManage people by executing management responsibilities and create an environment that encourages employee growth and performance excellenceImprove business profitability through efficient use of profitability modelConduct cost analysis, interpret and provide insights to the business to support decision making and to seek new ways to improve profitabilityConduct review, scenario planning and overall budgetary process in terms of spend and forecast adjustmentsReview, analyse and/or build, implement and maintain cost models aligned to standard drivers and methodologies to reflect both business expectations and Steerco guidanceDrive, influence and manage creative business solutions, optimise processes and inform strategic decisions through cost modelling and data analysisManage end to end costing projects involving a segment, business unit, function or country/region from strategy articulation through to model design and implementation  Re-imagining costing models to benefit and promote the adoption of platform across Retail, Commercial, Broader Africa and even external users.Execution of costing models monthlyVolume verification for input into costing modelsReporting to stakeholders, and query resolutionResponsible for running the budget and forecast costing models to charge business stakeholdersManaging and reporting on the cost per service and the associated rate and volumeAnalyse and query incoming SLA charges for accuracy & validityIdentification and tracking of key business KPI’s for each of the different teams and for the overall business.Play the role of a business partner and collaborating with different teams across the group to ensure financial requirements are met.Prepare bespoke monthly reporting which will assist in highlighting areas of focus that enhance decision making. Includes preparation of Exco, Manco and Opsco reporting packsEvaluate processes within all these teams in order to streamline them.Implement internal controls, policies & procedures.

What you’ll need:

CIMA or Newly qualified CA(SA) willing to get exposure in a tech enviromentExperience in managing people5-8 years Cost Accounting ExperienceAdvanced Excel knowledge and experiencePowerPoint knowledge and experienceSQL & PowerBI knowledge (advantageous)
