Essential Functions

Field costing related questions from the business and auditors (both internal and external) including the analysis of pegging and costs movements.Perform journal entries, general ledger account analysis and reconciliations related to inventory.Improve upon inventory reporting, including cost analysis at the material part level, labor and recalculation of G&A and overhead.Consolidate, analyze, and report inventory balances by product line and perform detailed monthly variance analysis as well as Quarterly Balance Sheet classification (RM, WIP & FG)Strong internal control focus, including updating control documentation, supporting internal and external audits.Actively seek opportunities to streamline assigned processes and cross-train with peers.Assist in project management activities and ad hoc analysis as required.Provide support and collaborate with Procurement and Operations as needed.

Basic Qualifications 

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant experience in cost accounting or operations/manufacturing environment. Strong SAP expertise with an understanding of pegging and distribution in a complex manufacturing or logistics environment.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.Ability to communicate and work as a team playerAbility to adapt to updated prioritiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Excellent interpersonal skills including a service-oriented mindset.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
