Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Cost Accounting Manager in the industrial product manufacturing industry located in Brecksville, Ohio. The role involves managing cost accounting operations, including maintaining and refining cost allocation systems, variance analysis, budgeting, and cost control. Responsibilities: • Oversee the cost accounting operations in line with the industry's best practices. • Manage and mentor a team of cost accountants to ensure efficient execution of tasks. • Utilize accounting software systems such as ADP and Epicor to streamline cost accounting processes. • Maintain accurate customer credit records and process credit applications. • Oversee the budget processes and perform regular auditing to ensure financial compliance. • Implement ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning strategies to optimize business processes. • Handle accounts payable and other accounting functions as necessary. • Apply knowledge of multi-currency transactions and global market trends in cost management strategies. • Lead cross-functional initiatives and manage projects to meet set deadlines. • Employ deep understanding of cost accounting principles in all tasks.
