The Cost Analyst, Senior shall develop cost estimating models, life cycle cost analysis, cost/benefit analysis, cost estimating drills, cost control, and analysis, and other cost documents. Responsibilities Document the facts and assumptions that are used in the cost analysis. Perform cost/benefits analyses and sensitivity analyses. Develop rough orders of magnitude to respond to various cost requirements and questions and defend the derived cost position. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications MS degree OR BS degree with 4+ years of additional experience 11+ years of relevant work experience Active or Interim Secret clearance required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have the ability to apply cost expertise in the following areas: requirements generation process, planning, programming, budgeting, execution process, acquisition policy documents, and current issues in systems and services acquisition management. Strong coordination, organization, teaming, and communication skills. Must have excellent organizational, scheduling and prioritization skills and to maintain high level of confidentiality, ethics, and integrity. Works well individually or in a group setting. Ability to interact with co-workers to develop a team environment. Ability to work under pressure and time constraints. Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Office, Outlook, Utilize AutoCAD, Visio, MS Project 2007 Ability to work independently without direct supervision or guidance.
