Cost Analyst

Our client, a leading precision manufacturer is currently seeking a Product Cost Analyst. This is a direct hire opportunity with good benefits.
**Summary:** Analyzes routings, bills of material, product specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost and labor estimates for products.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Prepare and review product costing packages. This includes coordination with multiple stakeholders from different departments such as Factory Office, Engineering and Manufacturing.
+ Responsible for the development and collection of internal manufacturing costs, including but not limited to materials, labor and overhead.
+ Examine and analyze production records, such as time clocked on and off work orders.
+ Create and monitor key metrics to compare production estimations (time studies) to actuals overtime.
+ Maintain and develop various costing/pricing templates used for various product lines.
+ Ensure costing are completed the highest level of accuracy.
+ Conduct variance analysis.
**Education & Experience Credentials:**
+ Associates degree
+ MUST have 3+ years of experience in manufacturing environment, related to any of the following disciplines: product costing, purchasing, expediting.
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft excel with spreadsheets.
Salary: 60K-70K (DOE)

**Pay Details:** $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
