Job Title: Cost Analyst
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cost Analyst to manage cost accounting and analysis, SAP costing and work orders, and inventory accounting. The ideal candidate will ensure system data supports product pricing and margin variance analysis, oversee SAP work order costing, and manage inventory valuation and reconciliation.

ResponsibilitiesEnsure system data supports product pricing and margin variance analysis, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.Oversee SAP work order costing with appropriate setup and master data governance.Collaborate with operations teams to ensure accurate order creation and closure in SAP.Guide the Specs team to maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) and routings within SAP.Conduct BOM audits and resolve discrepancies to reflect current manufacturing practices.Lead the annual standard cost update project, including labor rates.Oversee inventory valuation and reconciliation, ensuring accurate financial reporting.Monitor and manage month-end and year-end inventory accounting procedures, including physical counts and adjustments.Essential SkillsProficiency in cost accounting and cost analysis.Experience with SAP costing and work order management.Strong understanding of Bills of Materials (BOM) and variance analysis.Ability to conduct BOM audits and resolve discrepancies.Experience in overseeing inventory valuation and reconciliation.Ability to manage month-end and year-end inventory accounting procedures.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in collaborating with operations teams.Ability to lead projects, such as annual standard cost updates.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Work Environment

This position requires working four days per week in the office located in Sullivan, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $95000.00

Company benefits will be shared later in the selection process. These will be shared during the interview phase with HR to discuss specific benefits and eligibility.
