The Cost Controlling Manager will be working closely with Dx Industrial management and plant controllers at all Dx global manufacturing plants. Responsibilities include financial analysis, budgeting, manufacturing variance analysis, management reporting, capex, accounting support and other ad hoc analysis and projects. **Primary Responsibilities for Role** + Financial Planning & Analysis + Prepare the consolidation of Diagnostic Industrial monthly result and prepare monthly Industrial financial reports + Provide insightful analytics during monthly reviews of the financial results to help drive Industrial divisional performance + Consolidate manufacturing cost and inventory related information and prepare monthly reporting package for management review. + Coordinate annual Budget and monthly forecast planning and preparation with all Industrial plants + Provide support to implement Industrial division wide initiatives and projects + Support Sr. Director, Dx Industrial Finance to provide ad hoc financial support to Diagnostic Industrial management team + Consolidate manufacturing cost and inventory related information and prepare monthly reporting package for management review. + Manage and validate that the forecast information is properly loaded and reported in the SAP and BI reporting modules used globally throughout the company. + Financial Shared Services Liason + Lead coordination effort with internal/external audit teams + GDS legal entity accounting support; preparing accounting memo on an as-needed basis + Manage and validate that the forecast information is properly loaded and reported in the SAP and BI reporting modules used globally throughout the company + Coordinate with other Grifols affiliates for areas impacting Diagnostic; Cooperate with shared service team to support month-end closing by ensuring accuracy and completeness.Financial Systems + Proactively identify and drive through efficiencies and quality improvements with respect to capturing, analyzing and reporting financial data. + Work with Dx Industrial Finance team in the plants and IT teams to ensure systems are configured to meeting the changing structure of the business unit + Support SAP S4HANA Migration + General + Support Dx Industrial Finance initiatives and actively participate global Industrial Finance meetings + Continually improve the quality of support provided by the Dx Industrial Finance function + SAP experience + Cost accounting and inventory management experience• Industry knowledge and experience + Experience working with internal customers + Highly motivated with an inquisitive/curious nature + Solid analytical and presentation skills + Strong financial planning and organizational skills + Works well in the fast-paced environment + Excellent interpersonal skills + Able to provide challenge to business partners **Education** MBA / Master Degree in Finance; proven experience in lieu of Master degree is accepted **Experience** 8 years Finance or Cost Accounting experience **Equivalency** Depending on the area of assignment, directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements. Example: If a job level requires a Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of experience, an equivalency could include 8 years of experience, an Associate’s degree with 6 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 2 years of experience. **Pay Scale** The estimated pay scale for the Cost Controlling Manager Diagnostic Finance role based in Emeryville, California is $150,201.25 to $187,751.25. Additionally, the position is eligible to participate in up to 15% of the company bonus pool. Currently, the first year PTO accrual for this role is 120 hours per year. Then, after completion of 365 days of employment PTO accrual for this role will increase to 160 hours per year.
