Role Description:
Arcadis is seeking a Cost Engineer - Reporting for a high-profile heavy civil rail tunnel project in New York. In this role you will enter, manage and analyze data in various systems as well as produce accurate monthly reports on project cost, expenditures and budget status.
Role Accountabilities:
Oversee and manage the overall cost on large programs, ensuring expenditures align with budgets. Utilize EVM principles to monitor and control project financials. Evaluate and leverage project management systems (e.g., eBuilder, Unifier, Kahua) to optimize data handling and reporting processes. Ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems. Focus on timely and accurate reporting, which is more urgent than forecasting in this role. Utilize tools such as PowerBI, Microsoft Access, Excel, and structured databases to manage and report on project data. Familiarity with table structures from PMIS is essential. Serve as a key communicator within the team, effectively translating complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders. Work closely with the project management team.Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in Earned Value Management (EVM). A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.Key Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in eBuilder, Oracle Unifier, and similar PMIS tools. Strong data management skills, with expertise in PowerBI, Access, Excel, and database structures. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly and concisely. Experience managing costs on large-scale programs and generating monthly financial reports.Why Arcadis?

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $170,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
