Job Description:

This candidate will be responsible for:

Perform detailed quantity take offs and pricing for cost estimates for all stages of designTake offs, pricing, construction documents, change ordersPerform on-screen takeoffs for quantity verification against subcontractor bidsAttend meetings with engineers, investors and other agencies involved in projectsObtain, update and manage accurate pricing information from data base, contractors and suppliers to utilize cost estimatesWork with architects/engineers to develop clear project scope during preparation of estimates and develop relationshipsPrepare cost reconciliation between two or more estimates and be able to explain

Qualifications:

Must know AutoCAD and Revit3+ years minimum of estimating in Project Cost ManagementExcel (Microsoft) for cost accounting, reporting, methods and programsBudgets range from minimum $1 million to $200 millionMust be able to use takeoffs as a reference, no drawings typically doneCivil and Structural experience (Architectural is a plus)Government agency experienceMust know stages of design including feasibility studies, master plan estimates, value engineering, cost and bid analysis, change orders and attend project meetings
