Job Title: Cost Management/Estimating SpecialistJob Description We are seeking an experienced Cost Management/Estimating Specialist with expertise in managing costs for medium to large-scale construction projects, specifically within the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) trades. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of the Mechanical trade, with additional understanding of the Electrical trade being beneficial. A Bachelor's or higher degree in a construction-related discipline or equivalent field experience is required. Hard Skills + Bachelors or higher degree in a construction-related discipline + 5+ years of cost management or related experience on medium to large-scale construction projects + Consulting or owner's representative experience + Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing construction + Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite + Working knowledge of proprietary government estimating software/programs such as MII, SUCCESS, CostWorks, and PACES Soft Skills + Excellent communication and organization skills + Effective planning, time management, and problem-solving abilities + Ability to work in a team setting with minimal supervision + Experience in writing business documents, such as reports, detailed letters, and emails + Attention to detail and pride in the quality of work Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
