In this position...  

You will analyze and negotiate North America FCSD uplift requests, supporting over 100 buyers, utilizing industry norms and make fact based recommendations to the mgmt. staff.

 

You'll have... 

Basic Qualifications: 

Qualifications 

Bachelor of Science (Engineering, Technology, or Finance related fields) 5 years of experience in estimating within manufacturing Some travel required Self-starter 

Software Experience: 

Excel PowerPoint CAD/Read blueprints Estimating Software (FACTON) Company purchasing systems (SAP)

What you'll do…

The position deals with internal combustion engines and across all commodities.  In the next 5 years a transition to BEV’s will require an understanding of Motors, electronics, batteries. 

Skills:

Understand various manufacturing process and how the switch from high volume to low volume impacts cost:

Stamping Machining Injection molding Casting Wire Harness Assembly  

Calculate, analyze, and adjust estimates:

Efficiency, floorspace, and inflation impact labor and burden rates Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions Strong communication skills (both verbal and written, speaking and listening) Operate in a grey space environment with minimal direction and multiple projects
