Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Cost & Inventory Sr. Accountant in Sedalia, Missouri, United States. The role involves independent consulting, specifically focusing on inventory cost accounting and management within the industry. Responsibilities: • Streamline inventory processes in preparation for D365 Implementation • Manage work order processing in an efficient manner • Oversee cost aggregation and ensure accuracy • Conduct research and rectify unprocessed inventory movements including matching open sales orders and open purchase orders • Handle project accounting with diligence • Utilize ERP Solutions and Inventory software effectively for various tasks • Implement and maintain inventory controls for optimal operations • Participate in process improvement projects to enhance efficiency • Perform inventory planning and reporting regularly • Leverage skills in Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Cost Accounting, and Inventory Accounting. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Cost & Inventory Management role or similar • Proficiency in ERP Solutions is essential • Solid understanding and experience in Cost Accounting • Experience in Manufacturing Cost Accounting is required • Familiarity with Manufacturing Costs calculation and analysis • Working knowledge of Manufacturing Plants operations • Proficiency in Inventory Controls is a must-have • Experience in Inventory Accounting is necessary • Familiarity with Inventory Planning & Reporting is required • Proficiency in using Inventory Software • Experience in leading Process Improvement Projects is desirable.
