Cost Manager - Data Center Construction - Haskell, Texas

Role description:

As a Cost Manager, you will assist with Data Center Construction Team during the design and construction phases of capital projects. This role is located at our client's site in the Haskell, Texas area.

Role accountabilities:

Providing support to Project Teams throughout the project lifecycle Providing project level reports including detailed analysis of project cost and changes Maintaining and controlling budgets from design concept through to project completion Assisting with change management and control of total project costs (general contractors, direct suppliers, and professional appointments) Analyzing projects to ensure that project funding is adequate by performing estimates, cost forecasts, cost trends, and accrual of actual costs Developing cost estimates for civil, structural, architectural, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical disciplines Preparing material, labor, and equipment cost estimates for concept designs, design development documents, bid documents, and change orders Estimating and negotiating potential change orders Completing cost validation and quantity surveying on an as needed basis Monitoring and audit compliance Reconciling program and project controls data with the client’s fiscal and financial controls systems Presenting results of cost analyses to senior staff and clients

Qualifications & Experience:

Understanding of construction means and methodology Ability to read and understand design information  Experience working with project data that may include research, data gathering and analytic skills  Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Ability to engage with the client and key stakeholders at all levels to build relationships Proficiency with Primavera P6 and other related construction project software Focus on health and safety

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Masters degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying) or equivalent work experience 5+ years  of relevant experience  Strong software skills

The salary range for this position is $104,920 to $157,380 per year.
