How you'll make an impact GB Costing Director – Specialty & International Responsibilities: Responsible for creation of costing methodology for various service segments, both in US and Globally. Collaborate with Sales Executives, Account Managers, Field Operations and Finance to gather and question cost assumptions and understand the needs of the Specialty & International marketplace to document, develop and implement new costing methodologies, approval guidelines and system solutions for consistent and efficient preparation of quotes, financial analyses and reporting. Ensure pricing and costing tools and assumptions are present and consistently applied to meet the market needs and internal costing & approval guidelines. Review pricing quotes and proposals to ensure completeness, accuracy and alignment with RFP guidelines & requirements. Analyze revenue, cost, margin and pricing agreements while providing insight and recommendations for timely and effective business decisions. Ensure organizational delivery target dates are consistently being met. Perform ad hoc analyses for operational and financial management and to support business needs. About You Required: Bachelor's degree and 6 years related experience required. Strong excel and financial management software skills are essential. Qualifications: Costing Experience Results oriented: Accountable Accurate Problem solver Continuous improvement mindset Good business acumen. Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Advanced to expert computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (mainly Excel and PowerPoint). Extensive experience in excel-based financial modeling, including financial planning and analysis, pricing and partnering with non-finance business partners. Ability to flex between data/analytics and marketing creativity while thinking outside the box to solve complex problems with limited data sources. Comfortable in an environment with changing priorities and competing demands for time. Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, business partners and company officials. Technical expertise Acquire advanced to expert knowledge of insurance industry Acquire advanced to expert knowledge of proprietary systems/processes Experience: 7+ years of experience in quantitative analysis solving business problems, preferably including financial planning and analysis or pricing-related experience that may include pricing or costing management, financial analysis, and/or marketing research. Prior experience with staffing models, cost accounting and/or cost allocations preferred. Prior experience with Salesforce is a strong plus. Prior experience working in the insurance or financial services industry is a strong plus. Bachelor’s degree, with preference in a quantitative analytical field such as Finance, Accounting, Math, or Economics.
