COTA will treat various upper extremity disorders ranging from tendon injuries, sprains-strains, post- operative fractures, etc. Our population is primarily orthopedic injuries with referrals from hand and orthopedic surgeons. Let's foster your growth. **Hours Needed: Part Time** Mon - Fri **Compensation:** Starting at $25+/hr. Hourly rate calculated by experience. **Responsibilities** + Under the direction of the licensed occupational therapist, optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients. + Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components + Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care services. + Observe, note, and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals + Ensure proper documentation of patient care. + Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/ procedures as well as applicable regulations and corporate policies **Qualifications** + Must be a graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program + National registration and state COTA licensure or registration REQUIRED + Must have one year previous experience working with hand therapy patients + Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification + Valid state driver’s license **Additional Data** _Select Medical is committed to having a workforce that reflects diversity at all levels and is an equal-opportunity employer.
