**Overview** **KORT Physical Therapy is seeking an outpatient hand therapy Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Owensboro, KY** Our outpatient center in Owensboro, KY is seeking a licensed COTA to provide quality patient care. Experience in hand therapy is preferred.Best practices and evidence-based programs are utilized for individualized patient care. If you are looking for a stable company with an active, growing national hand therapy program, apply today! **Schedule:** Per diem on an as needed basis Monday-Friday **Compensation:** starting at $26.00/hour **Responsibilities** + Under the direction of the licensed occupational therapist, optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients. + Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components + Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care services. + Observe, note, and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals + Ensure proper documentation of patient care. + Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/ procedures as well as applicable regulations and corporate policies **Qualifications** Minimum Qualifications: + Must be a graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program + National registration and state COTA licensure or registration REQUIRED + Must have previous experience working with hand therapy patients + Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification + Valid state driver’s license **Additional Data** _Select Medical is committed to having a workforce that reflects diversity at all levels and is an equal-opportunity employer.
