**Description:**
Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is a full-service, non-profit Catholic hospital, operating in the spirit of the Sisters of Mercy and a part of Trinity Health. *Performs patient treatments as delegated by the Occupational Therapist. Utilizes
techniques involving exercise, adaptive equipment and splint fabrications.
Activities of daily living and homemaking skills are emphasized. Assists in the
development of functional aids and performs routine equipment adjustments as needed.
* Demonstrates competency in the administration of all patient care activities. Provides for
variety and creativity in treatment programs
* Safe work practices and proper body mechanics are displayed consistently.
Education: Graduate of Accredited School for Occupational Therapy Assistants required Licensure: Current Florida State Licensure required. National Certification (NBCOT)
