Higher-level educational institutions include private Berry College and Shorter University, and the public Georgia Northwestern Technical College and Georgia Highlands College. · Largest city near the center of the triangular area defined by the Interstate highways between Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL, and Chattanooga, TN. **The role you’ll contribute:** To deliver individualized, age-appropriate patient care in the field of Occupational Therapy. To assist the Occupational Therapist in the provision of treatment, discharge planning, education and preventative rehabilitative care to patients in need of same. Services may be provided across the full continuum of care and should be rendered in a cost conscious, quality focused and customer oriented manner. The role of the assistant is to enable the provision of care that allows for the restoration or improvement of function while reducing dependencies and in the reduction and/or prevention of injuries. Accountable for regulatory compliance for documentation and charges as well as adherence to all system and department policies and procedures. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** Strong communication skills; customer service mindset; team player. Incorporates the philosophies of continuous quality improvement, customer service and teamwork into daily routine. May require travel.
