This is a broad and varied position with high level of autonomy and responsibility to provide sound day-to-day legal counseling and advice across all business divisions of our global manufacturing company.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate, commercial, and/or transactional law and an aspiration to learn the details of the business to apply their legal skills in support of business objectives.  The position will involve interactions with all levels of management and presents an opportunity to have a wide-reaching impact within the Company.

What You'll Do Interact and collaborate daily with personnel across the company, including operations, accounting, treasury, tax, internal audit, HR, marketing, ESG, and information technology, to provide practical solutions on a broad array of legal issues Review, draft, and advise business team on a variety of commercial documents (such as supply agreements, terms and conditions of sale and purchase, and procurement agreements) to support business objectives and facilitate successful negotiations Counsel internal clients regarding business arrangements and commercial agreements throughout the contract lifecycle Collaborate with management to develop and execute strategic initiatives and projects, providing legal guidance and support as needed Assist with M&A, financial and real estate transactions from time to time and support business teams with post-transaction and integration matters Respond to inquiries and provide guidance to business and operations teams regarding potential risks, clarification of legal language, interpretation of applicable law and regulations, and other commercial and/or legal topics Support implementation and administration of enterprise-wide legal compliance program both domestically and internationally What You'll Need Minimum of 4 – 6 years of relevant legal experience; prior in-house experience strongly preferred Aptitude for innovative and creative problem-solving, along with practical business judgment Willingness to be curious and learn new things quickly Ability to analyze complex business and legal issues/risks in order to advance practical solutions and actionable recommendations Capability to self start and operate autonomously and to manage, prioritize and execute multiple tasks Your Education J.D. from an ABA accredited law school required and an active bar license
