BCBST is looking to add Counsel to our legal team to support various internal business functions\. Previous in\-house experience with a health plan \(or experience as outside counsel advising health plans\) is preferred\. **Job Responsibilities** + Provide legal support and guidance to business leaders throughout the Enterprise, including advising on legal considerations and risks affecting business initiatives and operations\. + Develop and maintain strong, professional business relationships with internal and external clients\. + Assists and supports more senior attorneys with management of legal matters and projects\. + Draft and revise legal documents, including contracts and legal memoranda\. **Job Qualifications** Education/Licensure + Juris Doctorate from an accredited institution + Must be a member of the TN bar, or licensed in another state and become a member of the TN bar as required by the state bar\.
