Position Responsibilities: + Serve as a legal advisor to the company, working with senior leadership to advise on all legal matters affecting the company and a ssist with acquisition activities, including due diligence, negotiations, purchase agreement drafting and integration of new businesses + Assist with legal affairs of company operations in multiple states as well as matters related to centralized corporate functions + Participate in enterprise-wide legal team meetings and activities including parent company and affiliated businesses + Understand and support full range of regulatory compliance and ethics affairs. Stay up to date and advise the company on various state and federal regulatory changes and requirements regarding the distribution of alcoholic beverages + Draft and negotiate a broad range of agreements including, but not limited to, alcoholic beverage distribution agreements and various vendor agreements + Coordinate material litigation with key stakeholders including litigation holds and participation in claim reviews + Support and review internal and external communications including social media, crisis communications and customer/supplier communications + Other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience: + Juris Doctorate and 3 plus years of related experience at a major law firm and/or corporate legal department + Admission to a U.S. state bar with an active license and compliance with requirements for in-house practice in the State of Illinois Equal Opportunity Employee & Physical Demands Reyes Holdings and its businesses are equal opportunity employers.
