Qualifications ASSESSMENT FACTORS 1. Serves as a resource to others regarding relevant regulations, guidelines, laws, and directives. 2. Frames CI and/or Cover Support products and assessments that articulate an awareness of denial and deception, electronic exploitation, biometric, and elicitation tactics used by foreign intelligence entities with some guidance. 3. Describes DoD/IC mission and objectives, applicable laws, statutes, orders, directives, treaties, agreements, procedures, and/or guidelines for conducting CI and/or Cover activities in work products or during mission execution. 4. Actively listens, without interruption or emotion, and respects diverse viewpoints while interacting with others about sensitive topics or challenging issues within teams 5. Designs solutions that address the complex, sensitive, and multi-faceted issues specific to modernizing cover training. HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS 1. Experience as a DOD cover support officer, DOD cover support technician or DOD cover user working in DOD cover support offices or in direct support of DOD covered operations. 2. Military and/or civilian instructor experience. 3. Experience working with various DOD organizations and Non-Department of Defense Federal Departments and Agencies. Education Additional Information DIA positions are Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) positions in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1601. All applicants must be U.S. citizens at the time of application. Applicants must meet the agency’s conditions of employment, to include, but not limited to, satisfactory completion of an initial special background investigation and periodic reinvestigation, completion of any required medical examination and physical requirements, completion of any required personal interviews, favorable completion of any required initial or aperiodic polygraph examinations, completion of any required drug test, satisfactory completion of a two-year Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System trial period, and completion of a civilian mobility agreement. All employees are required to sign an agreement not to disclose, in any fashion, classified information to unauthorized persons. All civilian employees are required to participate in the DoD Direct Deposit/Electronic Fund Transfer of Pay (DD/EFT) Program.
