Major Responsibilities:
Direct responsible of the daily accounting activities required to maintain the Plant´s USGAAP and MXGAAP general ledgers. (including but not limited to determination and posting of accounting journal entries, FX restatements, payroll accounting, fixed asset and depreciation accounting, recording of revenue and expenses, accruals calculation and posting, VAT accounting, preparation of the blackline reconciliations, etc.).Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities of the Companies under his/her scope.Ensure the digital tax compliance of the Peso statutory General Ledger.Maintains organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions.Provides accounting information to the external auditors and the COE teams, as required.Makes and implements recommendations to improve and automate the accounting processes and procedures.Requirements:
CPA or bachelor’s degree in accounting.Experience
2-3 years’ experience in similar positions, preferrable in multinational companies/ accounting office.Experience in USGAAP and MXGAAPStrong SAP experience (Accounting Module).Strong Tax (Income Tax, Payroll Taxes, Social Security) VAT acumen. Strong VAT acumen.General Competences:
Strong interpersonal skills. and communication skills (oral and written)ProactiveSelf-starter and motivated individual.Team player, boundarylessAbility to independently manage and successfully execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment.English proficient desirable but not required.Technical Competences:
