Responsible for the management of all aspects of the Lakeside Operation including Arnie’s Bar, Overlook Dining Room, Private Dining, Poolside service, Beverage Cart, and Event F&B execution (that could occur anywhere on property – including but not limited to: tennis/pickleball courts, fitness center, driving range, putting green, golf course), in accordance with Omni Barton Creek Country Club standards. This role focuses on a personalized and elevated Member experience, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and managing the staff to create memorable dining experiences for members.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of all club facilities at the Lakeside Club.Manage Food & Beverage Leadership Team to ensure dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, cleanliness, and dining experience of restaurant members. Maintain condition of cleanliness and presentation of the outlet dining room.Manage all membership programming and satisfaction measured by the annual member survey. Execution of a wide range of member events, including social gatherings, holiday events, activations, member programming and special promotions.Oversee all facility and grounds maintenance and cleanliness.Oversight of the clubhouse facility, Fitness, tennis and pickleball facilities both cleanliness and condition.Manager the pool operation and facility including cleanliness and maintenance.Coordinate with Head Pro and GCM Superintendent all golf operations including hours of operation.Coordinate with Director of Membership all membership sales efforts.Handle member comments and complaints and ensure member and guest satisfaction.Responsible for scheduling, completing weekly payroll, and forecasting both weekly and monthly. Ability to ensure proper cost controls are in place to include inventory controls, limited payroll overtime, food waste, etc.Responsible for performance management for staff, including monitoring attendance, conducting annual reviews, facilitating department meetings, disciplinary actions.Train and lead a team of food and beverage staff to ensure exemplary elevated steps of service and efficiency.Ensure compliance on all corporate service training programs to include POE and MOS training programs.Responsible for hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and coaching associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Participates in ongoing facility inspections throughout the club to assure that cleanliness, maintenance, safety and other standards are consistently attained.Monitors associates professional appearance standards to be in compliance with employee handbook standards ofappearance.Conducts training and other meetings with department staff.Foster a culture of excellence and hospitality that aligns with the club's prestige and members' expectations.Ensure service to all guests follows established standards, is consistent, efficient, and courteous.Perform any other duties required by senior management Qualifications
Must be a Self-Starter and take initiative.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing team.Must have and maintain current Texas Food Handlers and TABC certifications.Must be knowledgeable on Micros system and administration.2 years’ experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager, preferably in a 4 star high volume Restaurant or hotel is preferred.Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and multi task.Prior serving and cash handling experience preferred.Must be able to work flexible shift including nights, weekends, and holidays.Collaborate with culinary team in creative in food presentations, specials and promotions.Familiarity with food and beverage cost controls.Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Understanding previous culinary training or experience with Menu Design.
Physical Requirements:
