Country Data Privacy Officer

To be appointed as Data Privacy Officer (DPO) as required by the local PDPC to register with the regulator with proper qualifications and skills as required by local law and Allianz Group.  This position will be appointed and be responsible for monitoring of AI Governance as required by Group.

This position will have both Group responsibilities and Local responsibilities for contacting with PDPC, local Board of Management, and related functions to advise, monitor, review, handle privacy compliant, and report as required by local laws and Allianz Group.

Your Day at Allianz Ayudhya

The Data Protection Officer (“DPO”) must:

Ensure appropriate implementation of the Framework at the Allianz Ayudhya group companies level; which operate for life insurance, non-life insurance business and other related service companies and holding companies. Align their functional activities with targets and directives set jointly by the OE board of management and Group Data Privacy Officer (GCPO); Monitor compliance with applicable data privacy and protection laws, regulations, regulatory guidance, and the Framework; Validate that data privacy and protection-related compliance processes are appropriately implemented, maintained, and adhered to in accordance with respective internal and external requirements; Perform monitoring activities, in particular, the existence of material OE data privacy and protection deficiencies; Advise Employees on their obligations and rights under the Framework, including through conducting or facilitating training, awareness, and communication on data privacy and protection; Perform and advise on data privacy risks by looking through the risk associated with the Processing activities of the companies relating to personal data by considering the nature, scope, context, and purpose(s) of the processing; Report any privacy issue to the competent data protection authorities arising from applicable laws and regulations and to report any privacy issue which is likely to have a substantial adverse to the Board of Management and Allianz Group Data Privacy Officer (GCPO); Cooperate with the relevant functions to handle a request or complaint from an Individual, or in response to an investigation or inquiry by any data protection authority.

Must Have

Degree in Law, Corporate Governance, Business Administration or related filed At least 10 years of experience in Data Privacy related areas.
