Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead global or local commercial and operations teams. Each day, you will be accountable for the commercial deployment as well as the day-to-day operations of the organization within your assigned geographical scope. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the design and implementation of both the business commercial and customer-focused operations strategies.The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation Machine Automation division in {insert region}. Main stakeholders are {insert main stakeholder groups if available}.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tEnsuring the integrated commercial and operational success of the organization in order to drive business growth, market share, and achievement of organizational performance and growth objectives.•\tCreating, implementing, reviewing, and relentlessly executing the business commercial strategy, industry segment strategy, go-to-market model and customer-focused operations strategy with responsibility for financial and non-financial targets•\tEnsuring a sustainable and effective value-chain, from supplier to customer and from order to delivery (products, projects, and service).•\tDriving appropriate, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency with special focus areas such as profitability, demand analysis, cost-to-serve, channel profitability and Return on Investment.
Qualifications for the roleBachelor’s Degree with minimum 12 years experience OR Master's Degree with minimum 10 years experience. Preferred Experience Includes:\t10+ years of experience in relevant industries at senior leadership roles, including country-level management.\tDeep understanding of the local market, business environment, and regulatory landscape.\tStrong leadership and people management skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.\tExceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.\tProven experience in managing P&L, driving business growth, and achieving financial targets.\tUp to 40% travel, mostly U.S. and Canada, occasional other international; valid driver’s license and passport with no barriers to travel.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
