How your next role looks like:
Coordinate the HU Procurement organization including accountability for local target setting in alignment with Market (North & Central Europe - NCE) and Regional (BEA) Procurement goals.
This will be done through the following activities:
Lead and develop the local Procurement Activities and drive continuous improvement of operations; Support all Key Projects including OPEX/CAPEX and ENERG; Set–up the country specific procurement Sourcing Plan and support the business in setting up their plans, budgets and strategies; Support Regional (BEA) category strategy development and initiative execution; Lead contract implementation & drive contract compliance for local categories; Act as facilitator between Regional (BEA) Category Managers and Local Procurement Representatives (LPR’s) to ensure local acceptance of new contracts; Lead supplier development activities such as setting up cross functional review meetings with suppliers in order to improve performance and further reduce cost; Handle internal customers’ feedback on procurement organization & supplier performance, with Local Management and key partners; Oversee team performance including target setting, performance review, and career and training development.
What do we expect from our colleague?
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Commerce or another relevant area of study; Minimum 10 years experience in procurement in an Industrial environment; 5 years in coordinating teams; Fluency in Hungarian and English, German skills will be a plus; Experience with SAP- intermediate proficiency of Material Management module; Advanced level of Excel; Understanding of Total Cost of Ownership, Risk Management and Savings/Benefit monitoring; Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
