Country Warehouse Manager

Introduction

ASML brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world’s leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our main headquarters are located in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.

Role and Responsibilities

To support our customers, ASML keeps parts and tools in Warehouses close to our customers. In total we currently have 50+ of these local service warehouses globally, which are outsourced to Logistics Service Suppliers (3PL’s).

The Warehousing team is tasked to make sure the warehouses are ready to support our customers in the most efficient way, which means that all facilities are fit for purpose, there is enough space and sufficient manpower and that activities are performed in line with the agreed SLA’s and budgets. Facilities in our warehouses include Clean Technology Infrastructure (such as clean rooms) to inspect parts and clean tools, to make sure we supply our customers with parts and tools in the right quality.

To further increase the efficiency in warehouse operations, we are enabling 3PL’s to implement a Warehouse Management System (WMS) that will connect to ASML’s ERP system.
