Courier & Parts Coordination Specialist

We’re looking for a Courier & Parts Coordination Specialist to join our team. We are seeking a responsible, organized, safety-conscious driver to handle both traditional courier responsibilities with additional duties related to the stock of IT parts and assets within your assigned vehicle. The ideal candidate will enjoy being behind the wheel, seeing new places, and meeting new people. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely pickup and delivery of packaged IT equipment directly to and from customer facilities. A key function of this role will include ordering, replenishment, returns, and asset reconciliation, are completed daily. This ensures that stock levels are maintained to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and operational needs. + Operate company designated vehicles to make pickups and deliveries + Coordinate with on-the-ground Technician parts deliveries and transportation + Manage parts and assets at optimal stock levels with a focus on meeting defined Service Level + Document all deliveries, returns, and inventory movements accurately + Work closely with field technicians to understand parts needs and ensure they have the necessary equipment delivered in order to meet SLAs + Use navigational technology to find and follow optimal routes + Assist with regular vehicle inspections, arranging maintenance when necessary + Refuel vehicles and ensure they’re always ready for use + Required skills and qualifications + Understanding of inventory control processes and basic logistics is required + Time management les and SLA requirements for parts management + Valid driver’s license + Clean driving record for at least one year + Ability to drive for extended periods + Strong commitment to safety + Excellent navigational skills + Good communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to stand, walk, pack, unpack, delivery vehicles + Ability to lift and manually transport packages and equipment up to 50lbs + 2+ years of experience in a courier or logistics role, preferably within the IT or technical services industry + Familiarity with IT hardware and components is a plus + Valid commercial driver’s license + Experience driving in a professional capacity + Experience using GPS technology + Excellent time management and organizational skills + Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance + Familiarity with the local area CompuCom is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in all employment practices.
