Job Function: Ensure day-to-day courier services for Atlantic Health System are completed in a timely and professional manner. Covering the Freehold, NJ/Centrastate region + Must be able to maintain a flexible schedule and be available for overtime, special events and holidays as needed by the department. + Completes tasks and assignments in a timely and efficient manner. + Maintain updated current courier run sheets monthly for their shifts. + Must be in full uniform including a visible ID badge, key peg and maintain a professional appearance. + Vehicles are to be cleaned inside and out daily. + Rig check sheets are to be completed and turned in daily. + Swipe in and out on time. + Is on time for routine scheduled courier stops. + Obtains receiving signatures for all boxes and packages. + Adheres to all Atlantic Health System and Atlantic Ambulance Policy and Procedures + Completes all required training and maintains all required certifications and licenses. + Familiar with the use of an iPhone and basic technology + Contributes to a team environment. + Must attend at least 50% of all transportation staff meetings. Job Qualifications: + NJ Driver’s License (CDL optional) free of restriction + Is able to lift and pull at least 75 lbs. + Obtain CPR/First Aid Certification within 4 months of hire date. + Excellent customer service skills Required Core Competencies: + Ability and willingness to mentor new employees + Available for off shift and weekend hours as needed. + Driving in all weather conditions + Able to be discreet when dealing with sensitive/confidential information.
