Position is full-time Monday - Friday  4:30pm -12:30am. Must live a commutable distance to West Springfield, MA.  This position will start in West Springfield, MA at service center to-pick up company vehicle, make local pick ups then make a nightly trip to Elmsford, NY to pick up/drop off samples and return to West Springfield, MA to return company vehicle. **Must be comfortable driving.** Courier responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:   + Perform all duties as outlined in the SOP for Couriers. + Pick up and deliver samples, bottle orders and report to the laboratory for sign-in and analysis. + Count the number of samples when receiving them from clients to make sure that the Chain of Custody and samples match. Verify that samples are not broken or damaged. + Receive and sign the Chain of Custody. +  Ensure that client signs, dates, and records time on the Chain of Custody when releasing samples. + Transport samples on ice from client site to the lab, or from our lab to a sub- contracted laboratory. + Documenting, packaging and transporting samples in accordance with appropriate project-specific sampling and analysis plans/protocols + Responsible for quality control of all assignment and completing documents + Following and enforcing company health and safety policies. + Must be able to follow technical instructions and guidance. The ideal candidate would possess: + Ability to follow GPS directions  + Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail + Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude + Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies Basic Minimum Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent + Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship + A valid state issued driver’s license to drive delivery vehicles is required as an employee with driving responsibilities. Clean driving record to drive company vehicle. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.  Samples will be in coolers packed in ice. + Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen Compensation range  $19.05/hour plus 5% shift differential = $20/hour Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
