This position is for the F-35 TSSC Instructional Products, Courseware Developer position at the US Navy F-35C Pilot Training Center at Naval Air Station (NAS) Lemoore, California. Courseware Developers are the primary users of the Learning Content Management System (LCMS). They develop and modify courseware in support of evolving training requirements. Developers package lessons into Shareable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) compliant modules for Learning Management System (LMS) integration. The Courseware Developer:
• Responsible for the modification and maintenance of F-35 courseware to include Electronic Mediated Lecture (EML), Interactive Courseware (ICW) and Pilot Training Aid (PTA) content. This includes Test Item Analysis (TIA) data, Instructor Guides, Student Guides, and associated products
• Serves as the local expert for Learning Content Management System (LCMS)
• Works collaboratively with the Media Specialist and SME to develop a product that meets the
instructional and technical learning requirements
• Ensures all content is constructed in accordance with the F-35 courseware and instructional strategy documents
• Coordinates with Product Lead and Baseline Coordinator to make sure the most current
configuration items are represented on the master list
• Coordinates with Product Leads on Training System Problem Report (TSPR) priorities. Meets
weekly with Product Leads and adjust priorities as necessary based on Engineering Change
Proposal (ECP) schedules
• Communicates development status and issues to the Product Lead to ensure accurate metrics are provided
• Responsible for packaging and delivery courseware modifications to Product Lead and Baseline Coordinator
• Ensures the product follows US English guidelines and is SCORM conformant

Basic Qualifications:
F-35 Training System Experience with sufficient knowledge of Instructional Systems Design (ISD)
principles and demonstrable experience in the design/development and implementation of a
multitude of training products:
• Instructor Guides
• Student Guides
• Instructor-Led Training Packages
• Electronic Mediated Lecture (EML)
• Interactive Courseware (ICW)
• Supplemental Teaching Materials
• Procedural Job Aids
• Other multimedia training products
Must be able to apply knowledge of adult learning theory, training principles, and techniques and experience in the following areas:
• Must have technical expertise and knowledge to develop technical solutions to complex problems
that require regular use of ingenuity and creativity
• Have experience in applying instructional design best practices
• Must have time management skills with strong attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks
simultaneously, and meet assigned deadlines
• Must have excellent written and verbal skills including editing and proofreading
• Must possess a DoD SECRET Clearance and be able to obtain an F-35 Program Access Clearance
Desired Skills:
Experience or familiarity with any of the following skills or technologies is desired:

• Have working experience with IBM KeneXa Learning Content Management System (LCMS) as a developer as well as, other tools for development and distribution of training/courseware

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $67,200 - $128,900. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
