Job Title: Cover Office Clerk B
Location: Clarksville, TN
Shift: 1st shift
Jostens is looking for a skilled office clerk to join our Cover Office team! This individual will perform various tasks to assist as production support in the Cover Department and complete multiple office duties. This requires following standard operating procedures for productivity and quality and meeting departmental goals. The supervisor or manager may assign other duties or tasks as needed.
Qualifications: Required: High school degree or GED required. Experience with Microsoft Office and with office equipment. Good math skills. Good attention to detail. Must be a team player & positive in all interactions with others. Must possess the ability to work one on one with internal customers. Proficiency at handling multiple tasks frequently. Ability to work flexible hours and overtime with short notice. Ability to work well under pressure of deadlines. Should be able to work under minimum supervision. Good communication skills, written and verbal. Must have the flexibility to learn and use new technology. Ability to lift 10lbs. Excellent attendance record. Preferred: Basic experience with Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of Cover production & Cover processes. Responsibilities: Provide office support for Cover Production, Cover Plant Management team and manage office equipment (copier, fax, printers, etc.). Run and distribute reports. Process Cover barcode logging issues and correct. Work up job tickets for production, art, and office. Process customer quantity changes to include last minute changes while order is already in production. Perform various office work such as sorting mail, filing, material requests, printing off all art for electronic files, truck list paperwork, daily spec changes and cover for those employees out due to illness, vacation, etc. Retrieve and answer cover production questions from internal customers and production workers. Control custom litho stock received by Cover Department from other departments. Work with printing departments on completed frame cover samples. Promote a safe and healthy working environment by following rules and guidelines for department and plant.
