Hourly base pay rate is $21.49 - $32.26/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.Job Description
Qualifications For a Co-op:
Must be enrolled in a related degree program for all 3 Co-op rotations: Summer 2025, Spring 2026, Fall 2026The first rotation is full time where 3-4 class hours are allowed. The 2nd and 3rd rotations are part time being while enrolled in school.SPECIFIC DUTIES
Identify, catalog, and interpret competitive data gathered from publicly available documents and input the data into a Cox competitive databaseLead market analysis and synthesis of competitive intelligence from a wide range of sources, including in-house databases, web-based research, and coordination with the Cox Business Competitive Strategy teamInfluence critical business decisions through analysis, modeling, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reportingDistill key business insights from large data sets using software analysis toolsDevelop reports from existing Cox database to drive competitive analysisDevelop and document processes to improve data capture efficiencyManage relationships with external Cox suppliers of competitive dataSKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum:Attention to detail and ability to meet project timelines through good time management and workflow prioritizationStrong oral, written communications, polished presentation skills and adept at using online video conferencing toolsStrong in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Slicers, etc.), PowerPoint, and TableauPreferred:All majors encouraged to apply, Industrial Engineering, Math or Economics majors are preferredBackground or relevant coursework in applied statisticsExperience with SQL, Alteryx, Python, or other coding, data analytics software, and predictive modeling skills are highly preferredStrong background in mathematics and statistical analysisStrong in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Slicers, etc.), PowerPoint, and TableauAttention to detail and ability to meet project timelines through good time management and workflow prioritizationStrong oral, written communications, polished presentation skills and adept at using online video conferencing toolsExperience performing competitive research for product pricingCuriosity-driven to deliver competitive data using web researchPrior professional experience in a corporate environment is preferredBenefits
